The Apothegms of Enlightenment

These are the Apothegms of Enlightenment--the "clear sayings", without ambiguity or uncertainty, that lead to intellectual liberation and a life fulfilled. Great men and women of Philosophy, Science, and Wisdom have proclaimed these truths to every generation down through the centuries. Here again they are given to you--freely, openly, and truthfully, and with the hope that such wisdom will be heard by all.

The Secret Teachings of All Ages

Manly P. Hall's seminal work, The Secret Teachings of All Ages, is now available in the public domain. While this work covers a broad spectrum of subjects, its encyclopedic nature makes it an excellent resource for study.

The Kybalion

The Kybalion is a modern philosophical text, written by three anonymous authors (likely Freemason). It is said to summarize the Seven Hermetic Principles, and is deeply Neoplatonic in nature. But by itself, The Kybalion gives an interesting look into the modern development of Neoplatonism.

Westcott's Chaldaean Oracles

This is William Wynn Westcott's text and introduction to the Chaldaean Oracles. While it is heavily influenced by Kabbalistic theology, it is nevertheless a valuable source of information on this ancient text.

Ancient Fragments

Collected and translated into English by I.P. Cory, Ancient Fragments includes many ancient tracts that are otherwise unavailable. Most importantly, Cory has also include a translation of fragments from the Chaldaean Oracles.
